Good for a short stay

Hotel room was spacious and clean. Facilities in the room were adequate. Very comfy bed Location nearby to town centre

Parking area at the hotel was difficult to navigate due to sharing with residential units. Very limited parking for hotel guests. Buffet breakfast food option quite limited.

The room is spacious. This place is very close to Johor Bahru customs therefore it is a good choice if you travel to Johor Bahru from Singapore by bus.

It will be great if the washing machine and dryer are in the room.

- good location, not far from the bus station to go back to Singapore.

Free shuttle bus, every 30 min, to bring you to town! Amazing mattress, very confortable!

Convenient.

It was located very close to CIQ, walking distance in fact. The room we booked was very spacious and generally clean. Housekeeping was prompt to requests and the front desk was very quick to get us checked in as well.

It is not centrally located near the popular malls, but transport such as Grab is inexpensive so this is a small inconvenience. There were some food stains on the couch which I suppose is inevitible.

A comfortable value for money stay.

Comfort and a haven in the midst of a noisy and hot humid JB.

Housekeeping can be improved. Towels had stains n were not properly washed. Breakfast crockery had good stains.

Very Good

The bed,pillows, the water pressure of the shower, the bath tub and the staff.

I supposed they may be running a tight ship-staff wise. Housekeeping was not perfect. Bedroom slippers from previous guest were still under the bed etc But it was decent . Wasn’t impressed with what was offered during breakfast. Lots of construction happening around the hotel. So.. not the nicest view. Noise level was minimal if at all(whilst indoors).Not sure if rooms with sea view wld be worth it.

Overall good experience. Comfy bed, large and clean space.

Clean, and big. Many charging ports near the bed, and sofa.

The window in the shower room was facing directly to another property so close. Even though there was window blinds… it means I need to keep the blinds down. I can’t appreciate the view while using the toilet

The room is very comfortable, new and spacious Location is very near to city so it is very convenient too

Maybe can consider improving the dishes served for breakfast as it is quite pricey for what were presented

A luxurious hotel away from all the bustle.

Very modern and clean rooms. Very high class design. Bathroom is huge and very spacious with nice towels. Beds and blanket is good.

Location is not the best. There is nothing around the hotel like shops restaurants. Can walk to citysquare but across the road and can be far with kids. Car park is a complete maze. Signs need to be clearer. Every parking floor they point to hotel lobby but there is only one main hotel lobby.

The decor of the room was superb, also liked the idea of...

The decor of the room was superb, also liked the idea of eco-friendly facilities:) Loved the brands of the toiletries as well. Wished I could've stayed for longer!

I really liked the eco-friendly toiletries (rather than individually wrapped toiletries we had dispensers), however, the viscosity of the hair conditioner made it difficult to dispense after the first person has dispensed the conditioner. It is rather frustrating. Would have liked a bathtub, but I understand the concern with sustainability and I support it. The location of the hotel is also not perfect, considering that it is within eye view of CIQ but the roads made it difficult to reach there by foot, so calling a grab might be better. Lastly, as the hotel is quite new, not many grab drivers will know the place, especially when their GPS isn't working/is inaccurate.

I’m super upset with the hotel housekeeping department.

I’m super upset with the hotel housekeeping department. On my day 22 sep 2019, I check out from the hotel at 12pm. The moment I return back to home just before 1pm, I realised that I’ve left some clothings hanging at the hotel shower handle railing. Immediately I contacted the hotel but the hotel told me they told me they will unable to find my items. After I check out from the room, only the housekeeping staff will be only able to enter my room. So what had happen to my items.

A very new hotel located near Johor's Immigration, just...

A very new hotel located near Johor's Immigration, just a short distance walk from Immigration to hotel, but not really recommend to walk because without shelter walkway and must walk from the main road which have a lot of vehicles passing by, which will be dangerous for family with children. Reasonable price with not so bad breakfast, room are very accurate with the photos showed in Booking.com, room is spacious with electric over which able to heat up our own foods brought from outside. A small sofa inside the room are a plus point for travelers who came back from outside to rest without need to directly sitting on the bed.

Check in & check out are slow, waited nearly 25 mins to check in and 20 mins to check out. Understand this is the common problems in hotels located in Johor due to weekend travelers from Singapore or other states of Malaysia. Hope the procedure can be more faster in future.

Comfortable and Convenient at an affordable price

The bed is so comfortable and the room is huge. Hotel breakfast tasted great, although the coffee machine was quite average (they use fresh milk though). I love the hotel's sweet gesture of providing brownies and chocolate tarts for my birthday.

It would have been more convenient if we could walk over from City Square instead of taking a grab (as the custom was in between).

New but not maintained well. They didn’t refill the shampoo and shower gel at all. There’s stain on the bed sheet as well.

Very pleasant and comfy room

It’s my return to this hotel. The one bedroom suite is superb. It’s big and bathroom is unexpectedly long and spacious. It’s a well equipped room with everything you need. Staff are friendly and polite. Will keep coming back to this modern and pleasant hotel.

Worth well trip for normal staycation, but don't expect luxury from it.

Location is good, some of the staff looks polite, but some are not. Price for stay is worthy.

In overall for breakfast was not to standards, the bacon was soak in water and it doesn't taste well, for their local delights, also didn't taste well as well. Have been to quite alot of fraser's accomodation but just stating according to their standards. For cleanliness, we found hair and stains in the bathtubs. Floor is abit dusty, as we walk barefooted, Offered free parking, but would be good to offer waive off valet fee for tourist vehicle.

Pleasant condominium style stay

Hotel is very new and modern and well and adequately furnished. It has a condominium appeal and yes, next connecting block to the property are actually private residences. I like the hotel’s minimalist appeal and ambience. Love the sleek and eco-look of the lobby. My executive king room has a bigger floor area with a kitchenette and dinner area. I like that extra space. The property has quality fixtures with good finishing. The bathroom is also nicely designed and they provide pristine white, clean and thick towels and plant based and aromatic bath toiletries. Rain shower pressure is good enough. Too bad there’s no bath tub. Reception staff are pleasant and efficient and check in was a breeze on a weekday. My room is very quiet and I hear no noises from other room occupants. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Capri and will get back soon.

Although the hotel is very near to the checkpoint and malls, it’s still secluded in a residential area with no nearby shops unless you walk to the mall areas which is about 10-15 mins. The route there is not user-friendly as you may have to jay-walk in order to navigate your way there. So we rather take a grab ride to and out of hotel area. The kitchenette ceramic floor is a tad dirty with black shoe stains. Apparently Housekeeping staff did not mop the floor when they cleaned the room. Bathroom wise, there’s no hair conditioner in the dispenser and only 2-3 pieces of tissue paper left in the box. These provide some inconveniences for us but I can’t be bothered to call up housekeeping to replenish them as thankfully I brought along my own toiletries. Hotel breakfast is a tad too expensive if they are not included in the room rates. I must say they are not value for money for the fare they provided.
